THERAPEUTIC SERVICES & SPECIALTIES
Individuals & Couples Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy (ADHD, Autism, Depression & Etc.)
Therapy for when your brain has 50 tabs open, three of them are frozen, and you have no idea where the music is coming from. We move far beyond superficial advice and dive into the realities of living with a neurodivergent brain.
ADHD: We tackle executive dysfunction, dopamine-seeking cycles, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), and chronic burnout. We will build systems that collaborate with your brain rather than fighting it.
Autism: A sensory-friendly, radically accepting space where you can drop the performance. We focus on managing autistic burnout, unmasking at your own pace, and honoring your unique communication style.
Depression & The "Etc.": Neurodivergence rarely travels alone. We will address the accompanying depression, chronic exhaustion, and overwhelm that often come from navigating a world not built for you.
OCD & Anxiety Support
When your brain’s internal "alarm system" is stuck on high volume, finding peace can feel impossible. Using targeted, evidence-based tools, we will gently turn down the noise. We work on helping you step back from intrusive thoughts, build distress tolerance, and regain control over your daily life without minimizing your very real fears.
Trauma, PTSD & Abuse Recovery
Healing requires feeling safe. Trauma uniquely impacts the nervous system, and we work at a pace that explicitly respects your boundaries.
Covert Abuse Recovery: Healing from exposure to severe psychopathology throughout your developmental years (whether by a parent, caregiver, or otherwise). We will unpack the invisible wounds of manipulation and emotional invalidation.
Generational Trauma Healing: Breaking the cycles passed down through your family tree. Together, we work on the foundational understanding that what happened to you does not define you!
PTSD & Nervous System Regulation: We focus heavily on somatic grounding, emotional regulation, and self-compassion to help you move out of "survival mode."
Relationships, Couples & Family Counseling
Communication is hard enough; it’s even harder when you are speaking two entirely different "brain languages." Drawing on my extensive background in high-conflict family mediation, I help bridge the gap between different neurotypes within a family system.
Dynamics We Support: Pre-marital, marital, divorce/co-parenting, and blended families.
Our Focus: De-escalating high-conflict cycles, translating different processing speeds, and building a household ecosystem that meets everyone's emotional and practical needs.
How We Get There (The "How")
I practice from an eclectic, highly individualized framework. But what does that clinical jargon actually mean for your sessions? It means therapy isn't something done to you; it's done with you, using a mix of these proven approaches:
Symptom Tracking & Psychoeducation: Knowledge is power. We will track symptoms to gain clarity about your mood and patterns, empowering you to understand your lived experience. You will gain clarity on your symptoms, the environment around you, and a better understanding of mental health in general. When you know why your brain is doing something, you can stop blaming yourself for it.
Collaborative Treatment Planning: We will collaborate to discuss your goals openly, review your progress regularly, and incorporate additional or alternative supports as needed. You are always in the driver's seat of your own care.
The Psychoanalytic Lens: We don't just put a band-aid on your symptoms. We will look at your past and your relational patterns to understand exactly why your brain reacts the way it does.
CBT, DBT & Mindfulness: Once we understand the patterns, we need tools to change them. We integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to give you concrete, actionable skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
